SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's and women's track and field teams opened the outdoor season on Saturday afternoon, competing at the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University.
The men were led on the day by Andrew Konieczny, who followed up his stellar indoor season with a 20
th place finish in the 1500 meter run in a time of 4:12.91.
Courtney Humphreys paced the women's team with an 18
th place finish in the 1500 meter run. The sophomore crossed the line in a time of 5:10.12.
Sophia Parrish also picked up a top-20 performance in the Javelin, coming in 18
th place with a throw of 30.68 meters.
Neumann will be back in action next weekend when the teams head to the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.
