Two Knights Earn Academic All-District Honors

ASTON, Pa. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their Academic All-District Women's Volleyball teams on Tuesday afternoon and Neumann University's Taylor Long and Julia Solomon were among the recognized.
 
Long, who just completed her sophomore season, played in 30 matches for the Knights. She had 163 kills and 20 service aces on the offensive side of the court. Her seven block solos, 50 block assists, and 57 total blocks were all second on the team.
 
Solomon was an Atlantic East Conference Second Team performer, earning weekly Honor Roll distinction twice. In a match against York College (Pa.), the sophomore tied the program record in a five-set match with seven service aces. In total, she had 29 aces to go with 300 kills. The Ridley Park, Pa. native also contributed 70 digs, 26 block assists, and 28 total blocks.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
