NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their postseason awards in Women's Hockey and Neumann University's
Gia Santorello was picked as an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Santorello scored seven goals with seven assists for 14 points. Of those seven goals, six were scored on the power play, which was second in the conference, and tied for fifth in the country. The junior's 36 blocked shots were tied for eighth in the MAC. As a stifling defensive presence, who logged a lot of minutes, Santorello still found a way to stay out of the penalty box for the entire season.
