Summer's been in full swing since I got home in May, and it's been such a great mix of work, fun, and relaxation! I just wrapped up my third year as a substitute teacher at my elementary school, which is such a rewarding experience every time I walk those familiar halls. I've also been working as a lifeguard and getting in shape for the upcoming hockey season, while coaching some young players on the side.

When I'm not working or training, I've been soaking up every moment of summer with family and friends, especially enjoying beach volleyball; one of my favorite summer activities . I've also caught up on a few shows I've been meaning to watch and started reading some new books I've had on my list. So far, this summer has given me the perfect chance to reset, stay active, and enjoy the things I love most. I'm really looking forward to heading back to Neumann at the end of August to start my senior year!
