NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and Neumann University's
Darwin Berger was named the MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Berger scored his first goal of the season late in the first half as the Knights defeated York College, 1-0 in its first-ever MAC Commonwealth contest. The senior found the back of the net, volleying a cross in the 44th minute on his lone shot of the game.
Neumann (6-3-1, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) will look to stay perfect in conference play as they host Widener University on Wednesday night. The opening kick from the Turf Field is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
