This season was a big one for Neumann club ice hockey as they switched leagues and started their first season in ACHA D2. The Knights started the fall semester off strong as they went into winter break, sitting in 2nd place with an overall record of 11-6 (9-4 in conference). The Knights continued their strong play heading into the spring semester, as they went on to win 5 out of 6 games. That made their overall season record 16-7 (12-4 in conference) securing 2nd place in the division and a 1st round bye in playoffs. The Knights headed to Lancaster to take on Millersville in the semifinals. Unfortunately for the Knights that is where their season would come to an end as they lost a tough battle 4-2 to Millersville. Although the season did not end the way they wanted too, the Knights made a statement to the new league by finishing making the playoffs and finishing 2nd their first season in the ACHA
