Gina McLaughlin new Deputy AD

McLaughlin Named Deputy Director of Athletics

ASTON, Pa. – Neumann University Director of Athletics and Recreation, John Krimmel, is proud to announced that Gina McLaughlin has been named the Deputy Director of Athletics.
 
McLaughlin joined the Neumann Knights family in the Fall of 2009 as a Women's Hockey assistant coach. After a stint as an assistant coach at Penn State University, she returned to Neumann in 2014 as the Head Coach. McLaughlin joined the administration side of Neumann Athletics in 2023 as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and in January of 2025, she was advanced to Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance/SWA.
 
"Gina McLaughlin has done so much for Neumann Athletics, and we are thrilled to see her named Deputy Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA)", said Krimmel. "Her leadership, dedication, and commitment to our student-athletes have made a lasting impact across our department. I'm looking forward to working with Gina in this full-time role and continuing to build on the strong foundation she has helped create. We are also incredibly grateful for all she has given to our Women's Ice Hockey program as Head Coach—her influence will be felt for years to come."

"I am extremely happy for Gina with her new position", Neumann Men's Basketball coach, Jim Rullo noted. "So very well-deserved. She will continue to do great things for our department especially as we move forward in the new conference".
 
With this announcement, Neumann University will immediately conduct a national search for a new Women's Hockey coach.
