Women’s Lacrosse to Challenge #17 Franklin & Marshall in NCAA First Round

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse committee announced their field of 47 for the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship on Monday morning, and the Neumann University will head to Hartford, Ct. to take on 17th ranked Franklin & Marshall College in the first round.
 
The Knights dispatched Marywood University for their first-ever Atlantic East Conference title, and first NCAA Tournament bid, by a final score of 18-13. The tournament opener will be played on Saturday, May 9th at Trinty College. The winner will take on the hosts on Sunday in the second round.
 
The Regionals will follow at four different sites on May 16-17. Winners of the four regionals will advance to the semifinals and final, which take place Friday and Sunday, May 22-24 at Judson Stadium in Rochester, New York. Rochester Institute of Technology will serve as hosts for the championship.
