ROSEMONT, Pa. – Rachel DiCicco scored three goals as the Neumann College field hockey team defeated Rosemont College, 5-1, Saturday morning in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

DiCicco netted her first goal just seven minutes into the contest from Lauren Hood off a penalty corner. Rosemont tied the game at one at the 15 minute mark. With time winding down in the first half DiCicco scored her second goal to put the Knights up 2-1.

Neumann (4-9, 3-0 CSAC) would take a two goal lead when Melissa Malick scored off an assist from Megan Mazur. Hood added an unassisted goal and DiCicco got her hat trick, assisted from Bridget Meeks, to seal the victory.

Nicole Deludos had one save in net for Neumann. The Knights out shot the Ramblers, 50-3.

The Knights, who remain undefeated in CSAC play, will host Gwynedd-Mercy College on Wednesday. The game is set to start at 4 p.m. on Bruder field.
