CHESTER, Pa. – Lauren Hood scored the only goal on the afternoon to lift Neumann College to a 1-0 win over  Keystone College on a rainy Wednesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Semifinal action at Widener University.

With the win, Neumann advances to its first conference championship contest.

Hood netted the goal off a pass from Katie Murphy on a penalty corner in the 50th minute of the contest.

Keystone had a chance to tie the game at one when the Giants were awarded a penalty stroke in the 55th minute. Kellina Yarrish's shot clinked off the goal post and went wide.

The Knights out shot the Giants 10-3 in the contest. Jordan Haviland made one save in net for Neumann. Breanna Auld had two saves for Keystone.

Neumann will travel to No. 1 seed Cabrini on Saturday, November 8 for the CSAC Championship game. The game will begin at 1 p.m. Cabrini defeated No. 4 seed Marywood, 3-2, on penalty strokes in the semifinals.
