The Neumann College field hockey team took on King's College today in Wilkes Barre, Pa. The young Knights team was looking to improve after yesterdays lost to Scranton. Neumann showed improvement in their play but fell short losing to King's 4-1.
King's had 16 corners to Neumann's 5. The difference in corners gave King's many more scoring opportunities and allowed the hosts to pull ahead.

Megan Mazur scored the Knight's lone goal off of a corner. While freshmen goalie
Jordan Haviland made 10 saves in her first start. Neumann has upcoming games with. Widener and Frostburg and will look for continued improvement.
Neumann falls to 0-2 on the year.
