ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team defeated Frostburg State University, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in a non-conference match-up.
Lauren Hood scored the lone goal of the game 61st minute of the game off an assist from Melissa Malick. Maggie Carpenter made nine saves in net for her second shutout of the weekend.
Before the game, the Knights recognized its five seniors: Midfielder Megan Mazur, Forward Lindsey Graham, Forward Lauren Hood, Defenseman Kate Murphy and Goalie Sarah Alphin.
Neumann will host Susquehanna on Tuesday night under the lights in a non-conference contest. The game will begin at 7 p.m.
