SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell at the University of Scranton 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

Some numbers during the game were even. Each team had 10 shots and each goalie made four saves. The difference was the two Scranton goals, both of which came on penalty strokes. The first goal came right at halftime (35:00). The second came in the 62^nd minute.

Sam Kotowski was in net for the Knights.

Neumann (2-8) will get back to conference play on Tuesday when it travels to Gwynedd-Mercy for a 7:00 PM start.
