Field Hockey Doubled Up By Giants

ASTON,Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team lost ground in the Colonial States Athletic Conference standing by losing 4-2 to Keystone College Tuesday evening.

Keystone scored first in the 26th minutes to take the early lead. The Knights fought back in the 34th minute with Megan Scott striking the ball clean from distance to knot the game at 1-1.

Keystone showed persistence by scoring the next goal in transition on a numbers up situation. The Knights found an answer with Erica Crabtree goal to tie the game at 2-2 from an assist by Christina Hicks.

The last 15 minutes would decide the outcome of the game, as Keystone would find the back of the goal in the 56th and 60th minute.

Keystone held the advantage for shots on 19-6 and corners 16-11. The Knights made 15 saves by Lyndsey Kasecamp to Keystone's four saves.

The Knights return to action on the road against Notre Dame of Maryland University on October 15 at 1 PM.
