GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell to Gwynedd Mercy University 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Griffins scored the game-winning goal with 2:16 left in the first overtime.

Lindsey Spatola opened the scoring in the eighth minute, off an assist from Alexa McIntyre. Jess Harrell put the Knights up 2-0 on a penalty corner in the 13^th minute. Becky Guinto drew the assist.

Gwynedd Mercy netted goals in the 30^th and 33^rd minutes to tie the score at two before halftime.

Jordan Hopkins put the Knights up 3-2 in the 53^rd minute. The Griffins tied the score again, this time with 3:25 left in regulation, to force overtime. GMC scored the winning with in the 82^nd minute.

Lindsey Kasecamp made 12 saves in net.

Neumann (7-10, 3-2 CSAC) travels to Immaculata on Saturday for CSAC action beginning at 1:00 PM.
