TOWSON, Md. – The Neumann University field hockey team was doubled-up by Goucher College 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

The Gophers got off to a quick start, scoring just 33 seconds into the game. Goucher took a 2-0 lead in the 21^st minute for a 2-0 before the game went into a lightning delay.

Jordan Hopkins put the Knights on the board in the 63^rd minute to cut the Gophers lead in half, 2-1. Lindsey Spatola drew the assist.

Summer Sklivas made seven saves in net for Neumann.

Neumann (1-3) will host Wilson College and then travel to Delaware Valley in upcoming action this week.
