GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team split a pair of games during day two of the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic on Saturday afternoon.

Nikki Collevechio was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Knights started the day by winning 3-0 over Curry College. Neumann fell to Penn State Harrisburg 3-1 in the final match of the Classic.

Against Curry, Anna Waltz led the Knights with 12 kills while Julia Malseed added nine. Kat Wolf handed out 36 assists. Collevechio and Rachael Hoffman each notched three service aces.

Malseed anchored the defense with 12 digs. Hoffman added two block solos.

Against PSU-Harrisburg, Waltz again led Neumann, this time with 12 kills. Malseed, Sarah Sanderson, and Hoffman each added 10 kills. Wolf dished out 43 assists while adding five service aces. Collevechio tallied four service aces and Hoffman had three.

Waltz also led the Knights in digs with 15. Malseed had 13, Collevechio added 12 while Kristine Quinn tallied 10.

Neumann (2-2) will compete in the Buttermaker Classic Tournament next Friday and Saturday. Action gets underway on Friday against Stevenson.
