STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Neumann University indoor track & field team opened the 2022-23 season at the Fasttrack Season Opener at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday.
 
On the women's side, Courtney Humphreys finished 10^th overall in the mile run with a time of 5:30.47. Allison Siravo, Jaylah Flamer and Sydney Wilson all made their Neumann debut in the shot put.
 
For the men, Drew Konieczny placed second in the 800-meter with a time of 1:59.42. Kevin Deal came in seventh in the shot put with a throw of 12.64-meters.
 
Neumann will next compete at the Bow Tie Invitational at Ursinus College next Friday.
