LATHAM, N.Y. – The United East Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and Neumann University's
Trey Edmonds was named the Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
Edmonds had 28 kills and a hitting percentage of .333 in a 1-1 week for the Knights. Against Cairn University in their United East opener, the junior had 15 kills and hit .357. He followed with 13 kills in a 3-0 win over Hood College the following evening. This marks Edmonds' sixth conference Player of the Week award in his career.
Neumann (2-8, 0-1 United East) will return to action on Saturday when they visit Wilson College in their second United East Conference match of the season, starting a 1:00 PM
